Medieval Inspiration, Modern Proof

13th Century Barrel Proof Rye Whiskey is a bold and uncompromising cask strength expression that delivers the full, uncut character of American straight rye whiskey without dilution or chill filtration. Bottled at full barrel proof, this is a rye for those who want maximum intensity and complexity — the bold pepper spice, cinnamon, and oak character of a well-aged rye at its most powerful and expressive.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Bold and complex — caramel, vanilla, and an intense rye spice with notes of toasted oak, dark fruit, and a warm, honeyed sweetness
  • Palate: Full-bodied and powerfully layered — black pepper, cinnamon, and a building rye spice with a rich caramel sweetness and a deep, warming oak character at full barrel proof
  • Finish: Long and warming with lingering rye spice, dark fruit, and a clean, dignified oak warmth
