The result is a whisky of extraordinary complexity: the intensity of Scottish peat smoke transformed by Indian tropical maturation into something entirely its own — the peat mellowed on its journey to India, then amplified by the heat and humidity of Bangalore into a uniquely expressive cask strength expression.

• Nose: Smoked barley, kippers, and salted butter with a peppered bite and the distinctive character of Scottish peated malt matured in Indian tropical conditions
• Palate: Youthful intensity giving way to a malty ascendancy — intensely malty with drier oak notes and the full, uncut power of cask strength bottling
• Finish: Sublime and delicate — peat oozes gently, sugarless medium-roast Mysore coffee, soft liquorice, and a bourbony trail with molassed sugar. One of the great finishes in Indian whisky.
