Compass Box Story of the Spaniard is a whisky born from a personal story — a chance encounter John Glaser had with a man in the south of Spain, where he was introduced to Sherry for the first time. Years later, John was reacquainted with Sherry through whiskies aged in former Sherry casks, and it became a style he has been drawn to ever since. Story of the Spaniard is his tribute to that journey: a blended malt Scotch whisky crafted from a selection of single malts matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Sherry casks, producing a whisky of rich, warming complexity that tells the story of two great traditions meeting.
