Nelson's Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey is the resurrection of Charles Nelson's remarkable family recipe — the first bottling since 1909, when Prohibition shuttered one of Tennessee's most celebrated distilleries. Painstakingly filtered through a mellowing bed of sugar maple charcoal and aged in new charred oak barrels, this wheated mash bill expression honors the meticulous process that set the standard by which all future Tennessee whiskeys are judged. Brothers Andy and Charlie Nelson have brought their great-great-great-grandfather's legacy back to life, and it was well worth the wait.
