Oban Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillers Edition Double Matured

Oban's Maritime Soul, Enriched by Sherry

Oban Distillers Edition is the annual limited release that takes the distillery's celebrated 14 Year Old and gives it an additional finishing period in Montilla Fino sherry casks — a double maturation that adds a layer of rich sweetness and complexity to Oban's signature honey, citrus, and coastal character. The result is a whisky of extraordinary balance: the maritime freshness of the west coast meeting the warm, dried fruit richness of Montilla Fino in a combination that is both unexpected and deeply rewarding.

• Nose: Warm and complex — honey, orange citrus, and a gentle Montilla Fino sweetness with notes of dried fruit, warm spice, and a subtle coastal freshness
• Palate: Smooth and well-rounded — toffee, dried fruit, and a warming spice with a satisfying sherry richness and a clean, maritime character
• Finish: Long and gently warming with lingering honey, dried fruit, and a clean, dignified sherry oak warmth
