Taylor's Velvet Falernum is the original — the falernum that all others are measured against. Made in Barbados since 1890 by the John D. Taylor company, it is a low-ABV liqueur of lime, almond, ginger, and clove that has been the essential ingredient in Caribbean cocktails for over a century. The Mai Tai, the Corn 'n' Oil, the Zombie — none of them are the same without it.
