ArteNOM Blanco Histórico 1123 is produced by the Rosales family at Destilería Cascahuín in El Arenal, Jalisco — one of the most respected traditional distilleries in the Tequila Valley. Made from lower-brix valley agave, the hallmark of the Lowland tequila style: earthy, vegetal, herbaceous, and slightly peppery.

What makes this expression truly unique is its finishing: after distillation, the tequila is barrel-conditioned for 21–28 days in brandy casks that previously held Oaxacan mezcal — a technique that echoes how high-end blanco tequilas from the Tequila Valley were sometimes prepared in the early 1900s. For this reason, it is referred to as a "Blanco Histórico" — a living piece of tequila history.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Earthy agave, vegetal herbs, black pepper, and a subtle mezcal-kissed smokiness
  • Palate: Complex and layered — lowland agave character, roasted vegetal notes, citrus, and gentle smoke
  • Finish: Long and distinctive with lingering earthiness and pepper
