Crafted from a selection of aged single malts and grain whiskies, each matured for a minimum of 15 years, Chivas XV is then finished in Banyuls casks — French oak barrels previously used to age Banyuls, a rich, fortified wine from the Roussillon region of southern France — imparting a luscious sweetness and depth that is entirely unique to this expression.

The Banyuls cask finish transforms the whisky's character in the most seductive way. The nose is warm and inviting — ripe dark fruit, milk chocolate, and a gentle vanilla sweetness are lifted by notes of dried fig, cinnamon, and a subtle floral warmth from the French oak.
