Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition is the annual limited release that takes the distillery's celebrated 15 Year Old and gives it an additional finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks — a double maturation that adds a layer of rich sweetness and complexity to Dalwhinnie's signature heather honey and vanilla character. Located at 1,073 feet above sea level in the Cairngorms, Dalwhinnie is one of Scotland's highest and coldest distilleries, and the slow, cool maturation that results gives its spirit a distinctive purity and elegance that the sherry finish only enhances.
