Grande Absente is a traditional French absinthe crafted in the historic style of the Belle Époque — the golden age of absinthe that captivated artists, writers, and bohemians across Europe before Prohibition-era bans silenced the category for nearly a century. Made with grand wormwood (Artemisia absinthium), green anise, and fennel, it delivers the complex, intensely aromatic character that made absinthe legendary. Bottled at 69% ABV, it is meant to be diluted with cold water — and the louche effect it produces is as theatrical as the spirit itself.
